Even Tattoos Are Not Permanent

Model and TV host Heidi Klum has been showing off musician husband Seal's name written in elaborate script on her right arm since 2008. Now that the famous couple just announced their divorce, only time will tell what the 38-year-old mom of four will do about the unwanted ink. - OMG Yahoo

Celebrities have been going about putting on tattoos about their loved ones in the different areas of the body as a way to put emphasis of how much they love or treasure that person or their relationship. But the question is, should there come a time that, that particular person or relationship has to be cut or has to end, what happens now to that little memorabilia etched at your very skin? Here are some samples of what they call “tattoos gone wrong”.

In one of the most famous tattoo rewrites of all time, Johnny Depp only had to delete a couple of letters to change "Winona Forever" -- which he inked on his shoulder during his three-year engagement to fellow actress Winona Ryder in the early '90s -- to "Wino Forever." That tribute to alcohol still remains today. - OMG Yahoo

Personally, I do not like tattoos, they are sort of created in the spur of the moment, and somehow only represent that part of you on a particular time or period. You may learn to outgrow it sooner or later, but the essence of it being permanent, as that what is really intended to be scares me the most.
You might think of Angelina Jolie as the demure philanthropist, mom of six, and Brad Pitt’s significant other, but in case you forgot, the now 36-year-old actress was previously married to bad boy Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003. And in addition to swapping vials of each other’s blood to wear around their necks, the odd couple showed their love. - OMG Yahoo

Changes are inevitable. It is nature, and something permanent cannot be changed, although it can be modified one way or the other. As for this, laser treatment, or whatever you call it. But the thing is that area of skin will never be the same. You can write an essay and have it revised but tattoos are different. They may leave a scar which will forever remind you that for once, for a moment in your life something grand was there. Something made you happy because of that inked image whatsoever.

Of course these are just my thoughts. I respect whatever you may have on yours.
